June 2025 Report

Our last month in Glendive, MT. This month involved a lot of preparation for the group coming at the end of the month. We also had a special visitor come up and see us. Our daughter took a week out of her summer to see us.

Mission Team from Palm Beach Lakes

We are excited to report on the mission team that came to Glendive from our overseeing congregation in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. They arrived on June 23rd. We had a lot of work getting housing ready, meals prepped, routes planned for handing out flyers. This would have been much more difficult if it weren’t for the help from the congregation in Glendive. The team stayed at the homes of two of the members. You can see a picture of the group below.

We prepared 2000 packets to be hung on the doors of homes around Glendive. The packets included a flyer of the church info, a tract from House to House/Heart to Heart, and a fridge magnet with the church information.

We had the town divided into fifteen sections. We were able to hand out all the packets in two and a half days. This covered about seventy-five percent of the town.

We invited the community to a “Friends and Family Day” on Sunday, June 29 with a potluck meal to follow. We had six visitors! We also had a fifth Sunday singing of all the local congregations that afternoon. The closest congregation was an hour away. One of the visitors returned for the singing.

After the singing, Jordan Marley baptized his son Nathan into Christ! This is such an amazing family, and Nathan is a very talented young man. We are happy for him and his family. It was great to get to rejoice with them.

Fun and Games

One of the things we like to do with a group when they visit is spend time with the local congregation enjoying the area. Some of the group went out looking for dinosaur bones.

We visited the local dinosaur museum. It is a very good museum that shows the Biblical view of creation, dinosaurs, and the flood. We also found the Apologetics Press material in their gift shop!

We spent an afternoon grilling burgers, hiking, and playing disc golf at Makoshika State Park.

Looking Forward

At the time of writing this report, we are preparing to travel to Central Florida Bible Camp in Eustis, FL. We will stop and visit our kids for the 4th of July weekend. Please pray for safe travels and a great week of Forever Camp.
