2025 Coming to an End

Hello to everyone! As is our custom, we combine the November and December reports. If you have missed us, very sorry, but we are glad to be able to bring you all up to speed with what has been happening and what awaits us in the future.

November

The last time we sent out a report, we were making our way down to Palm Beach County, FL. Along the way we stopped and reported to the St. Augustine church of Christ. When we got to the Palm Beach Lakes church of Christ, they had the gates wide open and everything ready for us to roll in. They were able to install hookups for us so that we could camp in the parking lot. It has been great being here and seeing everyone.

While we have been here, we do a lot of visiting with the members to catch up and see how everyone is doing. We spend time with friends and get out and enjoy the natural beauty. I also got to teach a three-part class titled Lessons From the Road. The focus was on those things that we have found to be vital and basic in every location we have been.

We were blessed to share Thanksgiving with the Villard family here in Florida. Josiah had to work through Thanksgiving. Vivian was able to come down and join us for a couple of days. We always enjoy any time we can spend with her.

December

We traveled a lot in December. We had a vacation that we had been planning for four years with some friends from St. Augustine. It was fun to share the adventure and time with them.

When we got back from that trip, we had one day to turn around before going up to Henderson, TN, to celebrate and watch Vivian graduate from FHU! It's exciting to see your kids grow up and accomplish the goals they have been working on for so long. We are very proud of her and her plans. She will stay in the Jackson, TN area and work as a PTA.

We got to spend Christmas with both kids. It was a joy to have all four of us together.

Josiah was able to get an extra day off, and he bought us tickets to the Citrus Bowl! So we drove down on the 30th to Orlando and enjoyed a very Texas Citrus Bowl (Hookem!). It was a great way to finish 2025.

Looking Forward

I am currently writing this report on a train down to Miami. I am making my way to Easter Island. I will be there for two weeks. When I get back, Cara and I will travel to Paraguay. We will be there for two months. Please pray for safe travels, for these two works, and for a fruitful 2026.
