May 2025 Report

Hello from the church in Glendive, MT.

Everything is going well. We are going through the book of Nehemiah on Sundays. We are learning from the insights of building the wall and establishing temple worship that apply to the work of the church.

Travel in May

We had several trips this month. Cara went down to Nashville to help her sister after her surgery. We also got to celebrate with Josiah. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. We helped him move into his apartment. He starts in the ER at Jackson General Hospital on June 2nd. We are very proud of him. We will be back in December for Vivian’s graduation.

Getting to Know the Members

We have enjoyed getting to know the members since we’ve been here. Between the potlucks, dinner, and having them over, it has been fun. We have also been hiking in the Makoshika State Park. It is only a few blocks away from where we are parked. We took a morning and went with Renate, in the picture below. She has been hiking and enjoying the park for decades, so she showed us some of her favorite places.

This area of Montana is known as the Badlands. The hills are full of great views and interesting formations. There are a lot of people who come to this area for dinosaur bone digs.

Looking Forward

We are getting ready for a mission team coming in from Palm Beach Lakes church of Christ. We will be doing a door-knocking campaign and service projects here in Glendive. Please pray for those efforts.
