Finishing up in Paraguay

We are learning that the transitions from one work to the next are often the most difficult. As our time drew to a close in Paraguay, we were starting to say our goodbyes and have our final encounters with the members and those we had been reconnecting with for the last eight weeks. Our time was filled with Bible studies in the evenings and visits with the members. During our time there, we were able to meet with almost every member. We had three Bible studies every week. We had a fellowship meal on our last Sunday with the Sacramento congregation. The congregation was very thankful for our work while we were with them.

Here we are working with the kids club that we help organize. This was done with the help of the parents so they can keep it going when we are gone.

We got to spend a lot of time with various families and groups that we used to meet with when we lived in Paraguay.

As part of the training program for all the children in the congregation, we prepared quiet kits for them to use during the worship service. Children need to learn to be a part of worship, so these kits help keep them engaged in the assembly, and parents can also worship.

From Paraguay to Montana?

On March 13th, we started making our way back to the States. We planned a short stopover in Florida as we picked up our truck. However, there were some issues with the truck that we had to handle. Being in the shop and waiting on parts delayed our leaving Florida for about a week. We use the truck for everything from a grocery run to pulling our twenty-thousand-pound RV over eight-thousand-foot mountain passes. On our way to Arkansas, we stopped to visit our kids in Henderson, TN. We spent a couple of days with them and noticed that the truck is still having issues, so we made an appointment in Benton, AR, where the RV is, to get it looked at again. At this point, it looks like our arrival time will be pushed back in Glendive. Unfortunately, that’s how this goes sometimes. We will keep you posted on our social media about our arrival in Montana.

Looking Forward

We will be in Glendive, Montana April through June. Please pray for the work in this community. It is a new place for us and we look forward to the possibilities of what God can do.
